Lidl Polska extends cooperation with Grupa MTP
Partnership for innovation in the industry, sustainability and cooperation with local suppliers are the key areas for which Lidl Polska and the MTP Group continue to work together. Lidl Polska remains the Main Partner of the Polagra and Flavours of the Regions fairs and one of the leading exhibitors.
The Polagra Fair is a must-see meeting place for producers, processors and distributors in the sector, but also a platform for exchanging knowledge, presenting the latest trends and innovations that shape the future of the food market. The last day of Polagra, was at the same time the first day of the Tastes of Regions Fair, which brings together producers of the tastiest local products from all over Poland. Both events attracted nearly 40,000 visitors from 37 countries, who were met by more than 450 exhibitors with offers. An important highlight of the fair was the debates, presentations and training sessions with government representatives, chambers, associations, producers and partners.

Lidl Polska is a socially responsible company that continuously engages in activities that are important for society, and its activities have a strong impact on the national economy. The chain not only develops the retail sector, but also has a broad impact on other industries. Its operational activities translate into benefits for suppliers of goods and services, which strengthens many sectors of the Polish economy.
Lidl Poland consistently invests in the development of the Polish food market, offering a wide selection of products from local suppliers. The chain cooperates with almost 850 suppliers from all over Poland on a daily basis, and in 2023 more than 300 of them exported their products to foreign markets thanks to the chain. The value of these products amounted to nearly PLN 6.5 billion (data for 2023). The extension of Lidl Polska's cooperation with the MTP Group and its continued presence at Polagra is another step towards strengthening this strategy and supporting Polish producers.
- We have been making a positive impact on the national economy for more than 22 years. This includes not only the day-to-day running of shops, supporting Polish consumers and creating new jobs, but also working with Polish suppliers. This is one of our most important goals. We believe that further cooperation with the MTP Group and our presence at subsequent Polagra fairs will contribute to the dynamic development of the food industry and increase its innovation. The next edition of the Polagra fair will take place on 24-26 September 2025 in Poznań.
