Share

Polagra is a meeting place for leaders of the industry – and Lidl Poland, as a strategic partner, could not be missing from this event. The company will share its experience and vision for the development of the market. As one of the key market players and event partners, Lidl presents its expertise, best practices, and directions of action that for years have supported Polish producers, strengthened the local economy, and promoted sustainable development.

Lidl Poland – a driving force of the Polish economy and an ambassador of export

For over 23 years, Lidl Poland has consistently supported the development of the national economy. According to the latest report prepared by Deloitte, in 2024 alone the network generated PLN 11.4 billion of added value, while the activity of Lidl and its suppliers helped maintain over 57,000 jobs across the country. Importantly, nearly PLN 6.9 billion represented the export value of Polish products to 28 foreign markets, enabling over 340 domestic suppliers to spread their wings abroad.

The company also focuses on sustainable development – from eco-logistics and electromobility to the circular economy and plastic reduction as part of the REset Plastic strategy. For years, Lidl Poland has also cooperated with WWF Poland Foundation, supporting biodiversity protection in the Baltic Sea and educational activities for local communities.

Polagra 2025 – key highlights of Lidl Poland’s presence

During this year’s Polagra, Lidl Poland will be present in many areas of the program, combining substantive debates with open meetings and initiatives for partners.

  • September 24 – Włodzimierz Wlaźlak, CEO of Lidl Poland, will participate in the debate “Local roots, global ambitions – how export opens new markets.” This will be an opportunity to discuss how Lidl Poland supports domestic producers in entering foreign markets, which directly fits into the company’s strategic actions. An equally important point will be a closed lecture by Lidl and WWF Poland Foundation, where both organizations will present their joint initiatives for climate and sustainable development.

  • September 25 – a particularly intensive day for Lidl. In the morning, the company’s stand will host a suppliers’ breakfast with Karol Okrasa – a renowned chef and Lidl’s ambassador. The open-format meeting will not only have a culinary dimension but also a symbolic one, showing that Lidl prioritizes relationships and creating shared value with partners.

Later in the day, Lidl representatives will take part in two debates:
    • Wojciech Grohn, Member of the Management Board, Lidl Poland, in the discussion “Shared responsibility – sustainable development throughout the value chain”
    • Ryszard Machoj, Member of the Management Board, Lidl Poland, in the debate “Responsibility, technology, logistics – food waste prevention as a new standard”

An additional highlight will be the afternoon “Sweet Break with Lidl and Fair Trade”, combining networking with the promotion of responsible consumption.

  • September 26 – Lidl Poland will focus on individual meetings with suppliers, creating space to deepen cooperation, discuss joint projects, and explore the future of the industry.

Lidl Poland and Polagra 4.0 – a shared vision of the future

This year’s Polagra is held under the slogan Polagra 4.0, which means looking at the future of the industry through the lens of technology, innovation, and sustainable development. Lidl Poland’s mission naturally aligns with this idea – the company is already investing in eco-friendly solutions, building international bridges for Polish producers, and educating consumers by showing that business can be responsible.

Lidl Poland’s presence at Polagra 2025 confirms that together with industry partners, the company aims to create a new quality in the food sector – based on cooperation, respect for the environment, and a bold outlook on the future.
