Technology, taste and quality – these are the Gold Medalists of Polagra 2025
Top quality, innovation, and responsiveness to the needs of today’s market – these were the key criteria guiding the jury, chaired by Professor Henryk Jeleń, in awarding the Gold Medals at POLAGRA 2025. In this year’s edition of the prestigious competition, the jury recognized products and solutions that not only impress with their taste and functionality but also set new directions for the development of the entire food industry and industrial technologies.
The MTP Group Gold Medal is a mark of quality that has enjoyed recognition among producers, traders, and consumers for many years.
This year, 17 products at the Food Salon and 4 products at the Foodtech Salon were recognized by experts and awarded the prestigious Gold Medal title.
One of the distinguished companies is KABAKO GRUPPE Sp. z o.o., which received two awards for its products Yogurto! “Dairy Gardens” and Raspberry Butter with 80% fat content. As Krzysztof Kuś, Sales Director, emphasizes:
"Our company has always focused on development and innovation. Our goal is to present our product range and showcase top-quality goods made from Polish raw materials – something that the competition jury has recognized."

Also honored were products from Mlekovita Dairy Cooperative, which this year presented Natural Yogurt from A2A2 milk, UHT A2A2 Milk, A2A2 Sliced Cheese, and Semi-fat Curd from A2A2 milk. A2A2 dairy products are an alternative for people with intolerance to cow’s milk protein, those suffering from gastrointestinal symptoms, or older consumers experiencing changes in gut microbiota and immune system. Moreover, all awarded products were designed with consumer needs in mind, addressing the growing issue of food intolerances.

Another award-winning product, Honey-Mustard Marinated Ham from Skiba SA Meat Plant, reflects current consumer trends by allowing the preparation of a wholesome meal in a short time. It is a tender, juicy ham made without added phosphates or monosodium glutamate. It only needs heating to enjoy a flavor reminiscent of a traditional homemade dinner. As Marzena Łaźna, Marketing Department Manager, adds:
"The Gold Medal is a great honor for us and proof that our work and passion for creating exceptional products have been appreciated by industry experts. Participation in Polagra is not only a chance to showcase our products to a wide audience but also an inspiring place to exchange experiences and establish valuable business relations."

Among the winners was also the Smoked Grilling Cheese with Cranberry Sauce from AGRONA Sp. z o.o. sp. k. – a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Made from high-quality cow’s milk, naturally smoked with beech and alder wood, without dyes or preservatives, its delicate taste pairs perfectly with natural cranberry sauce. Convenient and delicious, it is an ideal product for grilling, parties, or everyday meals.

The jury also recognized “Na Pajdę with Meat and Onion” from MIELCZAREK Meat Plant Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. – “The Gold Medal is proof that the tradition and quality of our products meet the recognition of experts. In ‘Na Pajdę with Meat and Onion’ we combined authentic homemade taste with convenience, making it unique on the market,” says Szymon Mielczarek. He adds that participating in Polagra Food 2025 allows the company to present innovations, inspire the industry, and demonstrate that Mielczarek focuses on flavors that delight consumers.

But Polagra is not only about food products – it is also about solutions for the industry and modern technologies. At the Foodtech Salon, the jury awarded the MULTIVAC L310 TW conveyor belt labeler by MULTIVAC Sepp Haggenmüller SE & Co. KG, submitted by MULTIVAC Sp. z o.o. This labeler can be quickly and easily adapted to various tray shapes and sizes without the need to change tools. A non-stop version for continuous labeling is also available, along with different automation options.

The jury also highlighted the Wrapmaster 4500 by Cofresco Frischhalteprodukte GmbH & Co. KG, submitted by Melitta UK Ltd. This 45 cm-wide dispenser is the ideal choice for large kitchens that use significant amounts of cling film, foil, or baking parchment.

Foodtech Salon is not only about machines but also about eco-friendly solutions for the food industry. One example is the awarded project by SARIA Polska, REFOOD Division: Electricity production from food waste collected from retail, HoReCa, and food producers. The process involves collecting expired and unsellable food, bread, used oils, and Category 3 animal by-products. With a convenient container system and a specialized fleet for regular collection, the raw material is delivered to plants where it is processed into substrate and then into biogas, converted into clean energy, heat, and natural fertilizer.

The Gold Medal Winners of POLAGRA 2025 have shown that the Polish food and technology sector is developing dynamically, offering consumers top-quality products aligned with the latest trends. We invite you to explore all the awarded products at the fair on September 24–26, 2025, in Poznań!
