E-commerce, or (un)used potential
According to a report by Santander Bank Polska published in 2021, only one in five B2B grocery sellers used e-commerce. ¾ of companies declared that they would start using this sales channel within three years. How is the situation today? Our experts will talk about it.
The digitization of B2B sales in the food production and trade industry is progressing much slower than in Polish enterprises in this industry in general. In 2021, the percentage of companies selling online was 41%. In the case of the B2B food sector – it was only 19%. The pandemic had little impact on this activity.
This does not mean that companies did not see the potential. 3/4 of food companies that did not operate in e-commerce in 2021 intended to enter this channel within three years. Did it work?
By 2027, the share of online trade in the food industry is expected to increase to 2.7%. What are the chances of this happening? Monika Kosmowska from Get Noticed Agency, Agnieszka Haponik from Packeta and Marcin Tomczak from Ecommerce Legal will talk about this during the POLAGRA fair.
Debate entitled "How does the food industry use the potential of e-commerce and cross-border?", led by Piotr Snopek from Paszport do Eksportu, will be held on the second day of the POLAGRA fair.
For three days, experts from these companies will be available at their stands.
