POLAGRA 2026. What does the exhibitor structure say about this year's edition?

Food remains the foundation of POLAGRA, but this year's exhibition showed that modern food business is much more than just the product.

Technologies for industry, professional solutions for HoReCa, retail, logistics, and services supporting business development together formed a broad ecosystem. An analysis of the POLAGRA 2026 exhibitor structure also clearly demonstrates the international character of the event, with nearly every third exhibitor representing a foreign market.

Food at the Center, but Not Alone Food and beverage producers accounted for 57.1% of POLAGRA 2026 exhibitors. The remaining 42.9% represented other areas related to the operation of the modern food market. 14.3% of exhibitors were associated with the FoodTech, technology, and packaging sector, while another 9.5% offered professional equipment and solutions for HoReCa. B2B services, digital, energy, and HR solutions accounted for 8.7% of the exhibition. Retail, distribution, logistics, institutions, industry organizations, and the academic community were also present. As a result, nearly every fourth exhibitor—23.8%—represented FoodTech or professional HoReCa solutions. This illustrates the direction in which POLAGRA is developing: shifting from product presentation towards a place where solutions can be found for various stages of running a business—from product and production, through equipment and technology, to sales, distribution, and enterprise development.

FOOD in Many Forms The structure of the FOOD segment itself looks equally interesting. It was not dominated by a single product category. The largest group consisted of meat, poultry, and cold cuts at 15.2% of the FOOD segment. This was followed by bread, pasta, and cereal products at 12.9%, fruit, vegetables, and preserves at 12.1%, coffee and beverages at 11.4%, and sweets, confectionery, and desserts at 10.6%. The offering was complemented by, among others, dairy and cheese, oils, sauces and additives, specialized and functional products, as well as fish and fish products. Such a broad structure means that at POLAGRA, producers presented offers catering to the needs of various sales channels—retail and wholesale trade, distribution, import and export, and professional gastronomy.

Nearly Every Third Exhibitor from Abroad POLAGRA 2026 also had a clear international dimension. 67.1% of exhibitors represented Poland, while 32% represented foreign markets.* The strongest foreign representation came from Italian companies, but the exhibition structure also included representatives from other European countries as well as firms from Asia and Africa. The international character of the exhibition complemented POLAGRA's other activities aimed at developing foreign contacts, including the Hosted Buyers program and the Africa Food & Trade Forum. Thanks to this, the event served not only as a venue for presenting foreign products on the Polish market but also as a space for discussions on exports, distribution, and new directions of cooperation for Polish enterprises.

Product, Technology, Business The exhibitor structure of POLAGRA 2026 clearly shows how broad the food industry ecosystem is today. Alongside food producers, suppliers of machinery and technology, gastronomic equipment, business services, and representatives of trade, distribution, institutions, and industry organizations met. Product, technology, and business—it was precisely at the intersection of these three areas that this year's POLAGRA was built. As a result, the trade fair created a space not only for discovering new products, but above all, for finding partners, suppliers, technologies, and solutions needed for further business development.
