On July 1, Poland took over the presidency of the Visegrad Group (V4), which will last until June 30, 2021. This is the sixth Polish presidency of V4. The Polish Presidency will run under the slogan "Back on track". The Visegrad cooperation will focus not only on post-pandemic reconstruction, but also on giving impetus to regional cooperation, its improvement and supporting interpersonal contacts between the societies of the four countries of the Group after lifting pandemic restrictions. The European Union remains the key platform for V4 involvement. Hence, V4 under Polish leadership will focus in its work on the current European agenda.
The area of agriculture is also important in the work of V4. The next meeting of agriculture ministers of the Visegrad Group and Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania and Slovenia will take place on September 27-28 during the POLAGRA Fair in Poznań. The entrepreneurs from the abovementioned countries are also expected countries.
